His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Bahraini producer Ali Daylami in recognition of his achievement as the first Bahraini and Gulf national to win a Tony Award at the 78th annual Tony Awards, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to encouraging creativity, innovation and excellence among Bahrainis in line with the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
He expressed his pride in the successes achieved by Bahrainis across various sectors, emphasising their capabilities and relentless determination to achieve success.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his congratulations to Mr Daylami on receiving the prestigious award, commenting that it represents a significant milestone and the latest addition to the growing achievements of Bahrainis across diverse industries. He also wished Mr Daylami success in his future endeavours.
HRH Prince Salman commended Team Bahrain’s capabilities and excellence across numerous fields, noting that such achievements contribute to further cementing Bahrain’s position on the international stage.
He emphasised the importance of providing the necessary support and resources to empower citizens, enabling them to meet their aspirations.
Mr Daylami extended his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s relentless support of Bahraini talent, stating that such encouragement serves as an incentive to strive for excellence and contribute to the kingdom’s progress.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki also attended the meeting.
