MOTORSPORT – FIA vice-president for sport for Mena and Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) president Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa thanked Bahrain Car Parks Company (Amakin), headed by CEO Tariq Aljowder, for its support of the BMF’s annual summer camp.
Shaikh Abdulla emphasised that Amakin’s backing stems from its commitment to supporting the youth and sports sector in the kingdom. He also commented Amakin’s active role in helping drive the national economy.
Shaikh Abdulla noted that Amakin’s support will be clearly reflected in the camp’s success, which the BMF aims will attract large numbers of participants each year. The camp hopes to provide the kingdom’s youth with knowledge and basic skills that are important in motorsport, and educate them on the elements of safety in both motor racing and on the roads.
For his part, Aljowder expressed his pride and honour in contributing to the BMF’s annual summer camp and in helping make a positive impact with those taking part.
Aljowder also praised the great efforts of the BMF, headed by Shaikh Abdulla, and the federation’s team to develop motorsports in Bahrain, and wished them success in the upcoming camp.
This year’s programme is scheduled to begin in early August, with campers aged from 12 to 16, both boys and girls, taking part.
