Zainab Al Majid is riding high after etching her name in the record books as the first Bahraini woman to steer a motorcycle through the world’s highest motorable pass – Umling La in the Himalayas, India – at a breath-taking altitude of 19,024 feet (5,800 metres).
The intrepid adventurer’s extraordinary eight-day journey coincided with her 40th birthday, making the achievement all the more memorable .
