The Psychiatric Hospital received the national platinum accreditation from the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), after successfully meeting nationally approved standards for quality, safety and clinical governance. Government Hospitals chief executive officer Dr Mariam Al Jalahma expressed pride in this achievement, describing it as a recognition of the dedication of medical, nursing and administrative staff, and praised their efforts in strengthening mental health services and consolidating the hospital’s role as a leading national centre for specialised healthcare.
