Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci attempted to make the world's largest dish of jollof rice but ended up with a broken pot as they tried to weigh the gigantic vessel by hoisting it on a crane.
The dish, a popular West African recipe, took nine hours to cook and included 4,000kg (8,800lb) of rice, 500 cartons of tomato paste and 600kg of onions
But attempts to weigh the custom-made pot that can hold 23,000 litres proved in vain as the vessel buckled while being hoisted by a crane.

Fortunately, none of the food inside spilled and was later distributed by Baci’s team to the huge crowd of spectators.
Baci’s team said depite the failed weighing, they were collating evidence from different cameras to send to Guinness World Records (GWR) so it could be officially recognised.
