A man in Dubai was left befuddled when unboxing his brand-new iPhone 17, only to find the box filled with a bag of rocks.
Ahmed Saeed found a neatly compacted and sealed bag of stones in the box of what was supposed to be his new iPhone.
“It felt like the real thing—perfectly sealed, same weight, same packaging,” he told the Al Khaleej newspaper.
Saeed bought the phone from a reseller. When going back to him, the shopkeeper admitted that the particular unit didn't come from an official distributor but denied any foul play and handed Saeed a full refund.
