A new report by the GCC Statistical Centre has praised Bahrain’s social protection system, describing it as a regional model for progress, sustainability and fairness.
The report, titled ‘The Realities and Policies of Social Protection in the GCC Countries’, highlighted that all GCC citizens enjoy full access to education and healthcare, with school enrolment rates reaching 100 per cent and civil registration covering the entire population, well above the global average of 77pc .
