Kuwait’s security forces uncovered a fully equipped marijuana farm hidden inside a residential house in Sabah Al Salem.
The police raid exposed an elaborate operation run by a stateless man to cultivate and distribute narcotic substances, following days of meticulous surveillance and investigation by Kuwait’s General Department for Drug Control (GDDC).

According to security sources, detectives had been monitoring unusual movements and suspicious activity around the property, raising concerns about possible drug-related operations. After confirming the presence of narcotics cultivation, officers obtained the necessary legal permissions and executed a precisely coordinated raid on the premises.
Inside the seemingly ordinary home, investigators were stunned to find a sophisticated indoor marijuana farm, complete with specialised lighting systems, ventilation units, and temperature-control equipment designed to accelerate plant growth.
The raid resulted in the seizure of 27 marijuana seedlings under cultivation, 1 kilogram of processed marijuana ready for sale, 50 grams of marijuana seeds, and 2 electronic scales used for weighing and packaging the drugs.
Authorities revealed that the suspect was cultivating the plants both for personal use and illegal trade, taking advantage of the controlled environment to maintain a steady supply. He was immediately taken into custody and referred to the competent judicial authorities for further legal action.
