His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday highlighted the government’s commitment to further strengthening the partnership between the executive and legislative branches and the private sector, to drive forward the kingdom’s development and enhance the well-being of Bahraini citizens.
His remarks were made during his meeting with Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh along with their deputies, members of the committee on foreign affairs, defence and national security from both councils, several MPs and Shura members and Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman noted the vital role of the private sector in supporting the kingdom’s development goals and in creating opportunities for Bahraini citizens.
This leads to the increased competitiveness of the national economy and delivering sustainable growth,he pointed out.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also emphasised the importance of supporting national efforts to further cement Bahrain’s position as a distinguished regional and international destination for major events, conferences and championships, reflecting the kingdom’s capabilities, infrastructure and the extensive promising investment opportunities across diverse sectors.
He expressed pride in the members of Team Bahrain and appreciation for their dedication, creativity and contribution to the kingdom’s continued progress.
For their part, Mr Al Musallam and Mr Al Saleh and Mr Nass expressed their appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s unwavering support in advancing co-operation between the executive and legislative branches and the private sector, in service of the people of Bahrain.
Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
