Al Marai Company has hired and advanced the careers of 70 Bahraini employees through employment and development programmes backed by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).
This move aligns with the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company’s commitment to investing in its national workforce, enhancing their skills, and supporting career growth.
Tamkeen’s support reinforces its 2025 strategic priorities: boosting the competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping them with essential career skills, and driving enterprise growth and sustainability.
The support also aids the expansion of Bahrain’s retail sector, which contributed 4.2 per cent to the GDP in the second quarter of this year.
The Labour Fund offers a wide range of programmes empowering the private sector and aiming to make Bahraini talent the first choice of employment.
Al Marai, established in 1977 and headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is the leading food and beverage producer and distributor in the region.
