A trip to Umrah ended tragically when four members of a family from Kerala were killed in a traffic accident in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Abdul Jaleel, his wife Thasna Thodengal, his mother Maimunath Kakkengal and their 14-year-old son Aadhil Jaleel were identified as the deceased.
Abdul Jaleel was working in Jeddah, and his family travelled to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
The accident happened while the family was returning to Jeddah from Mecca after performing Umrah; their vehicle reportedly collided with a truck.
