A bumper harvest of movies is coming to a cinema near you in 2026 – widely anticipated to be the highest grossing box office year globally since the pandemic all but wiped out movie production at the end of 2019.
As has been seen in recent years, 2026 has a high count of fantasy and adventure films earmarked for release, including The Bride!, Project Hail Mary, The Mandalorian and Grogu, and Disclosure Day, to name but a few.
However, hitting cinemas in July is perhaps the most anticipated movie of the year – Christopher Nolan’s epic retelling of Homer’s Odyssey, featuring an equally epic roster of actors, including Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron and Tom Holland, to name but a few.
