A Bahrain Space Agency (BSA) delegation, led by its chief executive officer Dr Mohammed Al Aseeri took part in the Middle East Space Conference 2026, organised by Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in partnership with Nova Space.
The delegation included Geospatial Analytics head Roaya Bubshait and Strategic Planning and Projects chief Rasha Al Amad.
The participation reflects Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening regional and international co-operation in the space sector, and to exchanging expertise and showcasing national projects and developments.
On the sidelines of the conference, the delegation took part in the 12th meeting of the Arab Space Co-operation Group, during which Ms Al Amad chaired the committee responsible for drafting the group’s strategic plan, while Ms Bubshait delivered the kingdom’s presentation.
Members of the delegation also participated in technical and panel sessions and held bilateral meetings with representatives of space agencies and international companies to explore co-operation opportunities.
