New toll fees at the King Fahad Causeway will be implemented from February 18.
The King Fahad Causeway Authority has announced the revised fee structure – vehicles and motorcycles will now have to pay BD3.500, up from the earlier BD2.500.
While a round trip previously cost BD5, the revised fee will be BD7.
Other revisions include BD5.500 for minibuses, BD7 for large buses, and 700 fils per tonne for trucks.
The authority added that the revised fees exclude disabled people, students and those holding frequent traveller cards.
