His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Capital A Berhad chief executive officer Tony Fernandes at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to attracting investments and strengthening partnerships to support the growth of the aviation and logistics sector, reinforcing the kingdom’s position as a leading regional hub in line with the comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the importance of the aviation and logistics sector as a key driver of economic development and a critical pillar in enhancing the kingdom’s overall competitiveness.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of strengthening co-operation with Capital A to achieve shared aspirations and support Bahrain’s efforts to enhance international air connectivity.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the role of investments in creating quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens through training and employment, highlighting the importance of the national workforce in contributing to economic growth.
Mr Fernandes recognised HRH Prince Salman’s continued support of the aviation and logistics sector in the kingdom, wishing Bahrain and its citizens continued progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalif also attended the meeting.
