HIS Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday visited Salmaniya Medical Complex to meet the patients injured in the hostile Iranian attacks.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the readiness of the kingdom’s healthcare workforce, stressing that the delivery of medical services is at operational capacity and is in line with the highest standards, thanks to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad.
He extended his sincere wishes for the victims’ swift recovery and continued health.
“Safeguarding the health and well-being of citizens and residents remains a top priority,” he said.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the medical, nursing and administrative staff at SMC, commending their professionalism and tireless dedication to delivering the highest standards of care.
He highlighted the advanced readiness of the Health Ministry, the effectiveness of its emergency response plans and the seamless co-ordination amongst its teams, which reflects the health sector’s ability to respond promptly and efficiently when needed.
He affirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing the health sector’s capabilities, ensuring the quality, sustainability and uninterrupted provision of medical services to citizens and residents.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the importance of continued co-ordination among all relevant entities to maintain the highest levels of readiness and operational efficiency.
Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed expressed her gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the visit, “which reflects his unwavering commitment and steadfast support for the health sector”.
She emphasised the ministry’s commitment to the implementation of its approved plans to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of health care services under all circumstances.
HRH Prince Salman separately visited LuLu Hypermarket branches to ensure the availability of essential goods and services and the smooth flow of supply chains in all supermarkets across the kingdom.
The visits form part of the ongoing monitoring of regional developments in light of the hostile Iranian attacks and are in line with His Majesty’s steadfast approach to safeguarding national stability and strengthening the kingdom’s security under all circumstances.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was also in attendance.
