Two individuals, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested for misusing social media for harmful purposes, the Interior Ministry said.
The ministry’s anti-cybercrime department at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security arrested the two for publishing content that was deemed harmful to security and public order.
One suspect filmed and posted a video expressing sympathy with Iran while the other suspect illegally filmed a military site.
Legal proceedings are underway, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
