His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a letter of thanks from Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, expressing his sincere appreciation for his visit to the ministry.
Gen Shaikh Rashid said the King’s visit at this critical time once again reflects the continued support for police officers, in appreciation of their dedication and sacrifices in safeguarding the security and stability of the nation.
He added that it strengthened their determination to continue carrying out their national duty and bear the responsibility entrusted to them, regardless of the sacrifices and challenges.
He also said the close ties between the leadership, the people and the security institutions are well established among Bahrainis, who value their country and the leadership of His Majesty. He added that His Majesty’s leadership reinforces the foundations of security, stability and national unity in the kingdom.
