BASKETBALL – AL Hedaya Al Khalifiya Secondary Boys School were crowned champions of the Khalid Bin Hamad High Schools Basketball Championship after defeating Al Rawabi School in the final, played at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
The event was held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
BOC vice-president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was in attendance, along with Education Minister Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.
Al Taawon Secondary Boys School secured third place after beating Nasser Centre for Science and Technology in their concluding classification contest.
