Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said His Majesty King Hamad’s remarks to the media clearly underscore fundamental national principles that are not open to interpretation or compromise.
He stressed that Bahrain’s security, stability and sovereignty cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
Shaikh Khalid said the remarks embodied a firm position towards anyone who seeks to step outside national unity or align with the country’s enemies.
He added that recent developments have placed everyone before their national and moral responsibilities, and that there is no place in Bahrain for anyone who compromises their loyalty or undermines the country’s security.
Shaikh Khalid noted that His Majesty’s directives reflect a clear and conscious leadership vision centred on protecting national achievements, preserving unity, and strengthening the role of national institutions in addressing challenges. He stressed that unity and public cohesion remain the primary support in navigating this stage with confidence and strength.
He Shaikh Khalid also said that Bahraini youth will remain at the forefront in defending the nation, guided by His Majesty’s directives, which embody values of pride, loyalty and belonging.
His Majesty yesterday also received cables from ministers, officials, citizens and Bahraini tribes and families expressing support, loyalty and endorsement of the recent remarks to the media.
