Several countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan, have announced their full support for measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its security and sovereignty, and counter Iranian aggressions.
Saudi Foreign Ministry in a statement said the kingdom reaffirmed its ‘full support’ for Bahrain in all steps it takes to address actions that could undermine its security and stability, and to deter attempts to target Bahrain’s sovereignty or interfere in its internal affairs.
Saudi Arabia also underscored that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of its own security, as well as that of the wider Gulf region.
Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry affirmed that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the GCC states, stressing its firm stance alongside Bahrain in confronting any actions that could undermine its stability or interfere in its internal affairs.
Egypt also reaffirmed its steadfast solidarity with the kingdom, underscoring its full support for all measures undertaken to safeguard national security, uphold sovereignty, and ensure continued stability.
It expressed strong backing for Bahrain’s efforts to address any actions that seek to compromise its security or intimidate its citizens and residents, while firmly rejecting all forms of external interference in the kingdom’s internal affairs.
Egypt reiterated its enduring position that the security and stability of Bahrain, alongside all GCC states, are inseparable from and fundamental to Egypt’s own national security.
Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that Jordan stands in full solidarity with Bahrain, supporting all steps and measures aimed at preserving its sovereignty, security and stability. It also emphasised backing efforts to protect citizens and residents and deter any interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.
Syria expressed solidarity with Bahrain in confronting any attempts to undermine its security or interfere in its internal affairs.
It stressed firm rejection of all forms of external interference, underscoring the importance of respecting national sovereignty and supporting efforts aimed at safeguarding regional stability.
The Muslim World League categorically rejected attempts that could undermine the kingdom’s sovereignty or threaten its national unity and stability.
“The league stands in full solidarity with Bahrain – its leadership and people – in all sovereign measures it takes to confront sedition, division and foreign interference, in a manner that preserves its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents,” the league secretary general and Organisation of Muslim Scholars chairman Dr Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al Isa said.
