His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued Edict 18 of 2026 appointing directors at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, based on a proposal by the minister.
According to the edict, Muneera Salem Yousif Al Buainain has been appointed Director of the Postal Offices Directorate, succeeding Latifa Mutlaq Juma Al Duwai, while Hassan Mirza Abbas Al Salman has been named Director of the Land Transport Control and Inspection Directorate, succeeding Shams Rashid Shaheen Khalfan.
Mohammed Abdullah Ali Talfat has been appointed Director of Information Technology Directorate; Aneesa Abdulrahman Ahmed Al Qattan as Director of Services Directorate; Salman Hassan Saleh Al Sa’ati as Director of Postal Regulation and Relations Directorate; and Shaikha Lina bint Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa as Director of Land Transport Planning and Projects Directorate.
HRH Prince Salman issued Edict 19 of 2026 on the renewal and appointment of members to the National Qualifications Framework Advisory Committee at the Education and Training Quality Authority, based on a proposal submitted by the authority’s board of directors chairman and following the recommendation of the board.
The membership of Ahmed Abdullah Abdulrahim to the committee, representing the private sector, will be renewed for a four-year term.
Aqeel Abdulali Buhussain, representing the Labour Ministry, and Manaf Khalid Al Ani, representing private institutes, have been appointed members of the committee for a four-year term.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also issued Edict 20 of 2026 transferring Ambassador Ali Jassim Ahmed Al Aradi, head of Bahrain’s diplomatic mission to Algeria to the Foreign Ministry, based on a proposal by the Foreign Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
