Two restaurant owners have been placed in provisional detention for allegedly trying to bribe their way out of trouble, the Public Prosecution has revealed.
The individuals offered the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority officials money, investigators say, when they issued a violation against the outlet.
Investigations were launched immediately after receiving a report from the Um Al Hassam Police Station.
The case has been referred to court.
