BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday the promotion and appointment of Beshara Abdu Beshara as chief corporate services officer.
Adnan Hashim was also recently appointed chief financial officer (CFO), further strengthening BIC’s senior leadership team and ensuring that the organisation can continue to meet the needs of customers and partners while delivering on its objectives.
BIC CEO Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa said: “In recent years, we have made exceptional progress at BIC to deliver on our corporate objectives, increasing the scale and volume of our events, enhancing revenues and delivering for our customers.
“The promotion of Beshara, together with the recent appointment of Adnan as CFO, bolsters our leadership team, which will support our continued progress.
“I am proud that BIC continues to support and develop home-grown Bahrain talent across all levels of the company and our most recent senior leadership appointments are a testament to that.”
Mr Beshara was a founding member of the circuit’s team since its opening in 2004. In his over two decades of experience, he has held key leadership roles across safety, security, governmental affairs, and events. He plays a central role in managing the coordination between BIC and the kingdom government entities, facilitating seamless execution of events, particularly in the successful delivery of the Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Mr Hashim was appointed CFO at BIC having previously held the same position with Gulf Air Group and prior to that with Alba. He has over 30 years’ experience working in the financial and management consulting industry across key roles in the kingdom and beyond. He has worked across areas including corporate finance, business development, planning, and financial management.
