RUGBY – BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) secretary general Faris Al Kooheji received Bahrain Rugby Club (BRC) chairman John Docherty, in the presence of BOC sports project management director Lounes Madene.
During the meeting, Al Kooheji praised the role BRC is playing in supporting and developing the game and lauded their efforts to further promote participation in rugby across the kingdom. A number of relevant topics were also discussed, along with a review of the programmes and activities carried out by the club.
Al Kooheji and Docherty also spoke about the organisation of a league for the female students of private schools, as well as opportunities for cooperation to enhance rugby’s presence in the local sporting arena.
