BOXING – BAHRAIN’S youth and junior boxing national teams have travelled to Bosnia and Herzegovina for an intensive, 20-day training camp in preparation for the Olympic Hopes International Boxing Tournament, set to be held in Sarajevo from June 18 to 21.
The kingdom’s delegation is headed by high-performance coach and national teams head tactician John Conlan and assistant coach Mohammed Naseem. The young boxers include Saif Sameh Mohammed Ahmed, Hassan Mehran Jassim Ali, Ebrahim Abdulla Amin, James Terence Ingham, Yousef Ismail Moussa, Mohammed Samir Momen, Ali Hassan Aman, Mohammed Hani Attia, and Jayden Price.
In addition, senior women’s national team boxer Maryam Khamis will be participating in the camp as part of her development programme.
