Shakiha Sheema bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, head of Humanitarian Voluntary Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), witnessed the signing of a co-operation agreement with Gulf Finance House (GFH) Foundation, the charitable arm of GFH Bank, to support the ‘Reassured Homes’ initiative implemented by the Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives team ‘Sheyam Al Khair,’ which aims to provide a more stable living environment for widows, orphans and underprivileged families across Bahrain’s governorates.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the RHF by Ibrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, acting secretary general of the Foundation, and on behalf of the GFH Foundation by Dr Mohamed Abdulsalam, corporate secretary at GFH.
This is in line with the ‘Sheyam Al Khair’ team and the Foundation’s drive to strengthen co-operation in implementing community and humanitarian initiatives that address the needs of beneficiary families and achieve a sustainable positive impact.
Shaikha Sheema said that institutional partnerships are one of the most important factors in the success and sustainability of humanitarian initiatives, explaining that co-operation with the Foundation reflects an effective model of joint action aimed at achieving a tangible social impact.
She noted the commitment of Sheyam Al Khair to build meaningful partnerships with national organisations that believe in the importance of social responsibility and its role in supporting humanitarian work. She expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the GFH Foundation for supporting the initiative.
For his part, Dr Abdulsalam expressed his pride in the partnership with the Sheyam Al Khair team, emphasising that the foundation attaches considerable importance to supporting initiatives that improve the quality of life of beneficiary families and promote community development.
