Limited quantities of locally caught shrimp reached Bahrain’s markets yesterday, driving up prices as fishermen, fish vendors and consumers await the wider return of the Bahraini catch.
A full box (thalajah) of large local shrimp was selling for around BD170, while the retail price stood at BD4 per kg .
