Five workers have been arrested in two separate incidents for allegedly stealing electrical cables and an air-conditioning unit, the Interior Ministry announced in a statement.
The individuals, identified by the ministry as Asian expatriates between the ages of 21 and 40, were arrested by the Southern Governorate Police.
The items were stolen from two different companies in separate incidents.
The total value of the stolen items is around BD14,000, the Ministry added.
Legal proceedings were completed to refer the suspects for prosecution.
