CFI Financial Group, a globally recognised online trading provider, has announced that its local entity, CFI Bahrain, has received approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) to allow clients to fund their trading accounts using stablecoins.
The milestone approval enables investors to use USDT (Tether) and USDC (USD Coin), positioning CFI among the first regulated brokers in the region to offer the capability.
The new solution is delivered in partnership with ARP Digital Bahrain, a CBB-licensed crypto-asset service provider. Under the arrangement, ARP Digital manages the crypto settlement infrastructure, including wallet generation, transaction screening, risk scoring, and stablecoin-to-fiat conversion.
CFI Bahrain receives fiat currency only and does not custody, exchange or directly deal in crypto-assets at any stage.
For clients, the addition provides a faster and more flexible funding method – particularly for those already active in digital assets – reducing friction across the onboarding, funding, and trading process.
