Cyber bullying has become such a force and the bile of comments so strong that floods social media sites that it made one of the toughest women in sports give in. Serena Williams may won the Wimbledon but she lost to the trolls on social media sites who made caustic comments on her unruly eyebrows. While it may seem that not much affects Serena, in this particular case, it made her give in to their demands and shape her eyebrows.

It made Serena not only shape those eyebrows but even post a video of it on Instagram. The caption that Serena put up may seem light-hearted, and it seems like she has taken the vitriol with a pinch of salt. However, her actions, speak a different story.
For someone so talented and successful, it is a shame that people on social media constantly put her down. Last week author J K Rowling had to some to her rescue, this time it seems Serena herself has given in. And that’s a shame!
