Under the patronage of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, attended the official celebration of the 46th National Day on Saturday evening in Abu Dhabi.
Held under the theme 'Here is the Future', the event saw the attendance of Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras al-Khaimah.
In attendance also were H.H. Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, H.H. Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, H.H. Shaikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, and H.H. Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah.
A group of Shaikhs, ministers, senior officials and commanders of Armed Forces and Police were also present at the event.
