MANAMA: ThinkSmart for Development and Training has launched a special training programe known as “Tatweeri” for Bahraini business owners, entrepreneurs and executives of varying levels in the private sector.
It was announced during an open meeting organised by ThinkSmart, in co-operation with the Small and Medium Enterprises Association, Bahrain Business Women Association, the Bahrain Training Society and Alwani Bahrain.
Tatweeri aims to stimulate Bahraini businesses and national economy with a training programme for business owners and managers. It will primarily include training in VAT, leadership, financial management, entrepreneurship, in addition to human resource planning and management information systems.
Tatweeri, to be conducted in co-operation with Kaplan Genesis, a global giant in professional development services, training and business consultancy firm, aims to provide trainees with the latest knowledge and skills necessary to manage work efficiently, face economic challenges and stimulate their businesses as well as the economy.
Kaplan has partnered with ThinkSmart for Tatweeri, which is designed to foster and enhance skills of business owners, entrepreneurs, directors, executives, managers and team leaders, aiming to steepen the learning curve, allowing these individuals to expand their market reach as well as increase the quality of the products and services their companies have, to offer.
The programme is supported by Tamkeen and corresponds with national plans to promote investment in training and developing Bahraini cadres, providing them with knowledge and skills according to the latest international standards.
