MANAMA: Arab Financial Services (AFS), a leading regional payment solutions provider and FinTech enabler, has been awarded the ISO 27001:2013 certification for information security management.
The award of the certification follows a comprehensive ISO 27001:2013 security audit across various departments of AFS, conducted by ControlCase, a leader in Compliance as a Service (CaaS).
This included the assessment of AFS datacentres, internal data practices, documentations and business operations.
The extensiveness of the certification ensures continual compliance of data protection.

AFS group head of information security and operational risk Kunal Taneja said the ISO 27001:2013 certification places strict standards on evaluating and identifying risks thoroughly and has the ability to manage and reduce these risks.
