Cairo – An Egyptian pop singer has been sentenced to jail over multi-million bouncing cheques.
Al-Nozha misdemeanour court convicted Bossy of issuing dud chaques for 5 million Egyptian pounds and sentenced her nine years in prison.
She first claimed that her ex-husband had forged her cheque but failed to provide evidence. Eleven cases were filed against her over the bouncing cheques
She recently appeared on a TV channel and revealed that her husband had betrayed her twice which pushed her to file for divorce.
