MANAMA: Off-plan developers have until August 31 to get licensed, failing which they will be deemed illegal and face sanctions, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chief executive Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has warned.
“Within about four months of RERA starting operations, the majority of off-plan property developers have already been licensed,” he said as he hosted a briefing with members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) yesterday to update them on key issues for the sector and developers in particular .
