Abu Dhabi: The authorities in the United Arab Emirates have imposed a temporary ban on Ethiopian workers.
The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation notified recruitment agencies about the new restriction, which took effect last Tuesday (December 11).
The ministry cautioned agencies against processing any entry permit applications for Ethiopian workers until further notice, warning that legal action would be taken against violators.
