Dubai: A massive fire broke out in a residential building on Salah Al Deen street near the Dubai Police station in Muraqqabat.
This according to the Dubai Police.
Salahuddin rd opposite Muraqqabat police station is closed in both directions due to a fire in a building. Please be extra cautious.

The fire started at a five storey residential building and spread to another building nearby.
Reports suggest the the top floor of one of the buildings was completely destroyed by the fire.
Some Dubai residents have posted videos and photographs of the fire.

According to the Gulf News website, fire trucks and fire fighters are trying to prevent the fire from spreading to the petrol station which is nearby.
Police have cordoned off Salah Al Deen Street and Muraqqabat street has also been shut to traffic.
Dubai Metro services between Salah Al Deen Street and Abu Bakr Siddique stations, and between Union and Abu Hail stations on the Green Line have been suspended.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
