Manama: Euro Motors, the exclusive dealer and distributor for luxury automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover in Bahrain, has announced it will inaugurate a new $30 million showroom on December 9.
The new 2016 Jaguar XF will be launched on the same night and the winner of a raffle draw held then will get the newly-launched car, said a statement.
Construction work on the showroom began in April and it is the first purpose-built facility in the Middle East and North Africa region to be fully compliant with Jaguar Land Rover’s latest corporate
identity standards.
Located adjacent to the existing Euro Motors showroom in Sitra, the two-level showroom is spread over 5,000sqm and has been specially designed to solely house Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles for the next
10 years.
It also incorporates a state-of-the-art workshop, which is more than double the size of the current workshop and will allow work on 32 vehicles
at a time.
The facility’s growth will be supported by an increase in the total staffing levels to a total of 100 technical and non-technical
personnel.
Euro Motors Jaguar Land Rover managing director Nawaf Al Zayani said he expects the showroom to “massively contribute to the economy of Bahrain by creating a considerable number of job opportunities”.
Having been an official Land Rover distributor in the kingdom for more than 15 years, Euro Motors was appointed by Jaguar Land Rover as the exclusive importer and distributor for Bahrain in October 2013.
