Muscat – A photo showing a young Omani girl selling juice went viral on social media.
Social media users circulated the picture widely, pushing the Ministry of Social Development to take action and look for the child, reported Times of Oman.
According to posts on social media, the girl was found selling juice in the Wilayat of Barka.
However, officials dispatched by the ministry to look for the child could not find her.
“The family protection department and anti-begging team visited the site and did not find the child, said the ministry in a statement, vowing to pursue the matter.
