MANAMA: Sinnad, a regional card processing service provider and a subsidiary of Benefit, has announced the appointment of Mohamed Al Bastaki as its new chairman.
Mr Al Bastaki is also the chairman of Benefit.
The company’s new board also includes Abdulwahid Al Janahi as vice-chairman and Abdulrazaq Abdul Khaleq, Nezar Maroof and Riyadh Al Maraj as board members.
Mr Al Bastaki has been chairman of Benefit since August 2018 and has 36 years of banking and cards business experience.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Glamorgan, United Kingdom.
The new chairman is also a member of the boards of the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) and Osool Company, along with being vice-chairman of Kingdom University.
