Dubai: The public sector employees will not get an extra day off for New Year. According to a report published in gulfnews.com, The Federal Authority for Human Resources said that the New Year's holiday for 2016, which falls on Friday, 1st of January, will not be transferred to another day.
However, Christmas Eve (Thursday) will be a public holiday with work resuming on Sunday.
