BAHRAIN’S hopes of establishing a foothold in the tobacco industry continue to face opposition from MPs, with a parliamentary committee yesterday advising that the scheme should be scrapped.
The government wants to allow the planting and production of tobacco in Bahrain, as well as the commercial manufacturing of alternative nicotine substances such as e-cigarette liquid .
