One of Bahrain’s pioneering businessmen Jasim Abdul Rahman Al Zayani died earlier today.
The 97-year-old was undergoing treatment in King Hamad University Hospital for over two months.
Mr Al Zayani, the youngest and the only surviving son of late Shaikh Abdulrahman Al Zayani, was the founder chairman of J A Zayani and Sons Group of companies.
He is survived by four daughters – Sana, Majda, Rakhiya and Haifa - and two sons, Mohammed and Nael.
Mr Al Zayani will be buried today at 3pm at Muharraq cemetery.
The family will receive condolences at Jasim Zayani Majlis in Arad for men and at their Riffa Residence (Villa 2, Gate 1522, Shaikh Salman road 419, West Riffa, Block 906) for ladies from tomorrow until Thursday.
