Dubai: Several online stores in the United Arab Emirates are selling iPhones at roughly 40 per cent lower prices than the Apple stores.
The older the model, higher the discounts as iPhone 6s are being sold with discounts up to 15 per cent and iPhone 5s is available at discounted price of up to 40 per cent.
For example, a 16GB iPhone 6s is priced AED2,599 on the Apple Store, but AED2,199 at Souq.com.
There are close to about a dozen online stores that are selling the iPhone 6s at prices lower than the Apple store.
The prices are in fact cheaper compared to prices of similar models on Apple stores anywhere in the world.
According to a report in English online Emirates 24/7, almost all the outlets are offering warranty.
The Apple store listed a 16GB iPhone 5s at AED1,799. However, you can find a similar model listed by other online retailers for as low as AED1,099.
UAE retailer Axiom is offering the grey-coloured iPhone 5s for AED1,099. The gold-coloured model is priced at AED1,399, and the silver-coloured model is priced at AED1,699.
