MANAMA: The first Certified Blockchain Developer training was conducted for Bahrainis by ThinkSmart for Development and Training, one of the leading ICT training providers and an exclusive training provider of Blockchain Council, under the Blockchain Centre of Excellence programme.
The three-day training was held at the Le Méridien Hotel and attended by IT professionals and enthusiasts from several organisations and ministries, such as Interior, Information Affairs, Bahrain University, Bahrain Polytechnic, General Electric and Tarsheed Energy.
According to ThinkSmart, the Blockchain Developer Programme provides a solid foundation to become a blockchain developer. The trainees learned about development and security considerations that should be considered when building dApps/Hyperledger, which gives them sufficient knowledge to develop blockchain in their database for their organisations.
The training aims to impart an in-depth practical knowledge in blockchain technology. As demand for blockchain developers is soaring, the certification will prove to be a competitive advantage in the field of IT.
