Dubai: Lebanese child singer Lin Hayek was crowned the Voice Kids 2016 on the first season musical competition on MBC.
She won a scholarship worth SR250,000.
Dozens of kids between the ages of 7 and 15 took to the stage during the auditions, which wrapped up on Saturday night.
The contestants included refugees from Palestine and Syria, reported Arabic daily Okaz.
The judges – Iraqi superstar Kazem ‘The Caesar’ Saher, Lebanese pop star Nancy Ajram and Egyptian actor and singer Tamer Hosny – mentored these singers for the singing platform.
The Voice Kids which targets promising musical talents aged 7 to 14 years was launched in 27 countries all over the world.
