Riyadh: Al-Khaleej Football Club player Hussain Al-Turki has been found guilty of doping and banned for four years. The Saudi Football Federation said that the sanctioned player took prohibited amphetamine pills.
In a statement issued today, it is said that sample (A) revealed traces of the drug in the player’s DNA who opted not to analyse sample (B). The player has been given a 21-day deadline to appeal against the sanction as per article 13 of the Saudi bylaw on combating sport doping.
