Abu Dhabi: An elderly Emirati was killed yesterday in a violent collision between a car and a truck on the highway between Al-Sharjah and Nezwa in Oman.
The seventy-two-year old man was taking the roundabout when a speeding heavy truck smashed into him, causing his death a few hours later at a hospital.
Two Asian expatriate workers who were with him also suffered moderate to severe wounds.
