A'Ali Sports and Cultural Club has taken the initiative to turn its dome into a shelter for expatriate workers.
The decision was taken in a meeting headed by club board chairman and area councillor Hussain Al A'ali.
It has submitted an official letter to the government in this regard.
"We are offering the facility as a contribution to efforts to combat Covid-19 in similar manner to what has been done with Adhari Park,” he said.
